Ethics Policy
Updated on 10/28/2024
As writing becomes more prevalent in my life experience, I would like to follow suit on a personal ethics policy. These are rules outlined in order to create transparency between myself, readers, and outlets. I am doing this in order to hold myself up to a standard that I set, and if waver from my policy that I can be accurately held accountable not only by others but myself.
Reviews
For reviews, I do not often obtain a review copy in advance, but when the opportunity is given I will do my best to play and complete the game before the embargo date. I will adhere and agree to various NDAs, keeping information safe and secret.
All ads, promotional materials, and provided assets and codes will be highlighted and disclosed at the bottom of articles to which these apply.
Writing for Other Outlets
As a part of my writing, I will work with various outlets outside of my own under a freelance label.
Currently, I will place my article on the site in which I have an agreement with. That article will be placed on their site for all to read. After the article is posted on the main site I will also place it here with a link sending readers to the original post on the original site.
